Known as yellow birch, it is a medium-sized deciduous tree with usually one stem, reaching to about 20-25m tall. The bark is shiny bronze-yellow that gives the tree its name. The twigs give a unique wintergreen scent when crushed.
Germination: Soak in water for 24 hours, then cold-stratify for 60 days.
