(Pinus radiata)
Monterey pine is a medium-sized species of pine tree that grows 15-30m in height and is native to California. It is known for being planted worldwide in pine plantations in warmer temperate climates, and can grow in warm parts of coastal British Columbia. Its needle-like leaves are green, in groups of three and 10-15cm long.
Germination: Soak in water for 24 hours. Cold stratify for 14 days. Plant 1-2cm deep in sterile soil substrate.
