White fir is native to the western US and planted in Canada often as a landscape tree. It produces large, upright, purple-grey cones in the fall with numerous seeds. It grows from 20 - 60m in exceptional trees, with up to 2m diameter at base height in very old specimens. White fir trees can grow to 1m in diameter easily with adequate sunlight and rainfall.
Germination: Soak in water for 24 hours then sow in moist soil. Allow 2-3 weeks for germination to occur. Seedlings prefer well-drained soils.
Packet contains at least 25 seeds.
