Sitka spruce is a tree that grows along Canada's west coast and often towers among other trees. It is the tallest species of spruce and and the largest as well. Fast growing in its native environment of British Columbia these trees can reach enormous heights when given adequate rainfall and temperatures.
Germination: No cold stratification required. Soak in water for 24 hours and then sow 1cm deep in regular potting soil. Seedlings should emerge in 2-3 weeks.
