(Salvia apiana)
White sage is native to California and Mexico, a small shrub that grows to 1m tall, with whitish finely hairy leaves that have oil glands that produce a pleasant aroma. Flowers are white to light purple/pink and run up the stem of the plant. It requires well drained soil, full sun and is known to attract bees to pollinate the flowers.
Germination: Soak in water for 24 hours. Plant 1-2cm deep in moist potting soil mix.
