(Cucurbita maxima)
Open pollinated, cup variety. Full vined. Thick orange dry flesh with a sweet flavour. Fruits are large, green and often have green stripes down the sides. Makes a great ornamental gourd and excellent for cooking.
Germination: 5-7 days at 22-28C. Squash prefers warm temperatures to germinate quickly. Start indoors in pots 4 weeks before last frost or seed directly in early summer.
Harvest: 90 days to harvest. Grows well in a sunny location with rich soil.
Packet contains at least 25 seeds.
