Ponderosa pine is native to western Canada and the rocky mountains. Known for its scaly orange bark and large pointed cones, it grows in the interior region of British Columbia. It prefers a dry and sunny climate and generally does well on hillsides and slopes. It has long green needles in groups of three. 

Germination: Soak in water and let sit for 24 hours, then cold stratify for 60 days. Plant 1-2cm deep in moist potting soil. 

Packet contains at least 50 seeds.
