Canaan fir is also known as bracted balsam fir and contains traits similar to both Balsam fir and Fraser fir species, some researchers believe it to be a hybrid descended from both. Growing well in Ontario and southern Quebec, it tolerates wetter soils, shaded areas and is a good ornamental or specimen tree for gardens.
Germination: Soak in water for 12 hours. Cold stratify for 30 days. Sow 1-2cm deep in moist potting soil.
Packet contains at least 50 seeds.
